• Athlete Services is a unique legal service offered by Metis tailored towards supporting the professional and commercial development of amateur and professional sportspersons, and is headed by partner Rajat Sharma with professional Boxer China Clarke.

  China Clarke who works with Rajat in Dispute Resolution, offers first hand knowledge and expertise to athletes who are starting out in the sports industry. He particularly strives to ensure that athletes who may not be familiar with the commercial and business aspects of their participation within sport are being properly legally protected, and to make sure their personal interests are being looked after all at all times.

  China and Rajat have a particularly unique relationship, Rajat mentoring China both in Court but also outside as part of his inside ring team. This exemplifies how Metis differs from other law firms: by seeking to form personal partnerships with the athletes themselves, to invest in them as much as athletes invest themselves into their career, and to protect their legal interests both within the sporting arena and outside in the commercial environment.
