Our options

• Hourly Rates:

  Our hourly rates are commercial but exceptionally competitive. We will be transparent in the way we apply our hourly rate to the work we undertake on your behalf.

  Conditional/Contingency Fees:

  In some cases where we are instructed to pursue a debt or a remedy without court proceedings, we can agree to take a percentage of the monies you recover as payment for our fees, that is to say ‘we eat what we kill’. In other cases, we will consider whether a conditional fee agreement (“no win-no fee”) is available and we can discuss full details of this at the relevant time.

  Fixed Fees:

  Services can be agreed at a fixed fee from the outset, or a combination of fixed fees and hourly rates for different stages of a project.

  Contra Arrangements:

  Metis appreciates that in this economy cash flow is tight. Unlike other law firms, we are always willing to consider a tit-for-tat exchange of our business and legal acumen in return for Metis’s own creative, marketing and PR support. It can be a perfect win/win solution to get what we all need or want, but without the burdening cash flow.

  Virtual Legal Director (VLD)

  VLD is unique to Metis. Through bespoked fixed monthly instalments, we offer clients access to their own virtual legal director to consult and advise on the management and direction of any legal issues faced by their business. You can find out more about VLD here.
